Quote enquiries

When you request a quote, we use the vehicle, service, contact and location details you provide to assess and respond to that enquiry, create an operational record and arrange work where agreed. Do not include unnecessary sensitive information in free-text notes.

Customer job passes

When our team sends a secure job pass, it may provide access to the linked quote or job, appointment details, customer-safe updates, an agreed price and paperwork deliberately shared for that job. The usable pass and browser-session tokens are not stored in the database; only cryptographic hashes are retained. Portal openings, updates, document access, extensions and revocations are audited for security and service support. Treat a job-pass link like a key and share it only with someone you trust.

First-party aggregate measurement

We count a fixed set of useful actions by UTC date, event type, page category and known campaign. We do not store analytics cookies, visitor identifiers, raw IP addresses, user agents, referrers or arbitrary query-string values. These totals help us understand whether contact and payment journeys work.

Google Maps and what3words

Review content is requested from Google Places only when the page is online. Reviewer attribution and source links are supplied by Google. If you open the what3words map to find your location, what3words may process that visit under its own privacy terms. Google review content is not stored in our database or offline cache; a what3words address you enter into a quote is stored with that enquiry.

SumUp and payments

Card payments use SumUp's embedded payment widget. Yorkie Car Keys creates the checkout on the server but does not collect card numbers, security codes or card PINs on this website. SumUp's privacy and payment terms apply to the card-payment step.

Retention and your rights

Operational quote and job records are retained only as needed for service, legal, accounting and security purposes. Contact admin@yorkiecarkeys.co.uk to ask about your information or exercise applicable data-protection rights.
